lost survivor

okey, i have bin playing solo for a while now, and have buildt a base, and tamed alot of dinos. BUT. when updated and opened the game today, my survivor was dead, and all of my stuff is untouchable because, now, everytime i die, i have to make a new survivor.
the first one was in lvl 68, so its making me pretty grumpy, that i have to start all over everytime, and my stuff is just standing there. i'd really love to get permission to my own stuff again, so if anyone knows what to do, or how to get my first survivor back, that'd be great.
