Hello Ark developers,
I was thinking about adding an new aggression level for our dinos.
Why you ask? Well, here is an example. Currently I have a group of raptors walking around my base on aggression level aggresive. I want them to kill everything that walks inside my base walls. But I dont want other dinos to do that. You guys will say, put those other dinos on passive. I did, and along comes two flying ants and they kill some of my HIGH LEVEL dinos which were on passive...
I suggest a new aggression level called: Defensive (or something like that). This way the dino doesn't interfere with other dinos fighting, but only defends itself when under attack.
Let me know what you think of it!

New aggression level: Defensive
Re: New aggression level: Defensive
Well. I am pretty sure you can already do this. You have to set them to neutral and have the radius low as possible. I'm not 100% sure if I have that right because I have never actually thought about that. However if you had them set to neutral in general they'd defend themselves and their tribe. But actually understanding your situation more I think i know what you mean. You can possibly have 2 groups of Raptors. Group 1 would walk around the area and Group 2 will defend. You have Group 1 down now to have Group 2 , obtain more raptors and have them set to follow the remaining passive dinos you have and set Group 2 , to neutral. So if something were to attack 1 of the dinos , Group 2 would take care of the issues and walk back to their post after it is dealt with. However i do like your idea and it should def be an option. This was just something you could do now if they don't add it later.

Thnx for your reply Garcavega!
There are lots of ways to work around my problem, but that doesn't always work.
I've tried putting one dino on passive and let the others that are on neutral follow him. In theory the dinos on neutral would kill the target and get back to the dino that they've been following, but they're always standing clustered in a group and not the way I want them to be. You might call it autistic, but I want my dinos to stand in a line when they are on neutral/passive/defensive.
Also, sometimes when I log back in, the follow option is reset and all my neutral dinos are scrambled all over my base or stuck inside a wall...
I think the defensive option will be the best solution so far.
