cant login to unofficial servers

Been playing on an unofficial server with some buddies for a few days now. Been great fun!

Now I have a problem where I cannot join this server anymore. My buddies can and they are continuing with the game. I can get on to the official servers but that isnt as fun for me since I can't play with my buddies!

any help would be appreciated!

Contact the owner of the server perhaps?

I have posted a query to the specific server host already however I get this error on all unofficial servers. Official servers are fine.

Ah, that's weird. You don't get any error message? What happens when you try to connect?

When I attempt to join, I get the load screen with the "A" in the bottom right for a while with the load progress tile on the bottom left.

It says "loading primal data" etc then "the island data" etc then after a while when it looks like its about to start, it goes back to the server list screen and says "unable to login", then it looks like it auto attempts again then "unable to login" a second time then that it.

Then it just sits in the server screen and I try all over again.

It does everything like it would normally do when loading into an official server but as it gets to the "start of the game" point it switches back to server list.

ok, so after ALOT of fiddling and messing around I finally got into a local unofficial server.

I had to put my router into bridging mode. Dunno why this helped. Hopefully it continues to help
