Dedicated srever "Not Responding" and not showing up

Run it again, steam has some times fucked up things. Otherwise reinstall it entirely some thing might be broken.

Tried again, reinstalled and restarted my pc. Nothing worked. Anywhere else I could get the files from?

steamcmd/steam client are the only possible ways at the moment, although I think this must be some thing library related. Re checked your error message and I think it is missing certain libraries which causes to give it parse errors. Have you tried installing the required libraries for windows?

Could you be a little more specific on "libraries"? I have spent a lot of time searching and I keep coming up with a windows program and random forum posts.

They are in your ARK Install directory, first run stuff. At the moment I am not behinf my PC but will reply again with the correct path.

Update your server files, it is fixed yesterday if it still crashing look at this guide:

I made an attempt at updating the server files on steamCMD, but was greeted by another error. I have an idea of what it means, but I don't know how to fix it.

You've put "<Install dir>" as the installation directory, this one doesn't exist and can't be created by steam because of the <> characters.
Change the location at "Force_install_dir" and swap <Install dir> with a valid location like this: force_install_dir C:\gameservers\ARK01\

Then install it.
