Cloud Sharing Worlds (Xbox One)

Post by Warlord Woods » Sun Dec 20, 2015 11:07 am

I saw your thing on turning Xbox into dedicated servers. I think thats really cool. We've been dying for a saved world option in many of our games.

I am not tech savvy and I have an idea, that to me seems simpler. Can smeone tell me if it is possible or not?

My idea is based off of what Ive observed from Cloud Saves, Minecraft co-op and MW2 PvP.

Right now I can take the save file for my Minecraft world & save it to the cloud and retrieve it and play it on any console after I enter my profile information.

I believe in MW2 when the player hosting the match left the match stopped for a few minutes as the match was loaded into another host.

My Question:
In Ark could we make it so that if I made a world I could save it to the cloud and then left, anyone who entered the worlds profile name and password would load that world onto there console and resave it to the cloud when they are done?

If the world was already loaded and someone joined they would just be a guest to the host console, like in Minecraft co-op. If the host left with a guest in the world the games save file would just transfer to one of the guests, but the world would keep saving to the one save file in the cloud memory.

Is this possible?

It seems simple to me but since it has never been done before I figure I must be missing something.

Thank you for your time
Woods
