Forced Mutation and evolutions breeding mechanic.

In replying to a previous post, I had an idea involving Breeding.
First off: "Incubator" prerequisite would be air conditioning.
How about have the new born's incubation temperature, schedule, and parents be contributing factors of the newly developed dino? For example if an egg's incubation temp is 19-21°C, if you want it to be the same as it's parents, you keep it at 20. If you toggle it between 18 and 19° then it'll stress out the egg and cause damage to the Egg Health, but assist in forcing an evolution within the egg due to the cold. The colder you get the egg, the more extreme the evolution but can cause the new born to be Dead on Arrival, increasing the temperature by each degree it increases chance of death by 10-15%. If it succeeds then it's stats would be permanently affected in such ways:
Minor Cold: slight increase to health, and damage.
Extreme cold: significant increase to health and damage, increased Fortitude and Torpor resistance.
Minor heat: slight increase to speed and stamina
Major heat: significantly increase speed, stamina, carry weight, and reduced consumption of food.
These affects would allow you to breed and further custom tailor your creatures to your person preference whether you want a Brutal Combatant, or a try Beast of Burden. You could further breed these Evolved Creatures together again and again to eventually breed the ultimate creature of its kind after many generations.
