a couple ideas

Post by TAPST_Few » Tue Nov 17, 2015 5:15 pm

Hello,

have a couple of simple ideas that may or may not seem like a good idea to the devs.

first, a perch for flying mounts. I think it could very easily look like the wooden fence, and just be an item that flying mounts could perch on when not in use.

second, in a similar vein, something like a hitching post, that various small and medium critters could be hitched to, when not in use.

Thanks for your time,

oh, and i came up with some more.

collars. what do pets need, collars.

could be customizable to some extent, and would need different sizes for various dinos. also "dog tags" with tribe insignia could be hung from them.

I find it pretty difficult to line up my plumbing with buildings, especially if you are away from the water. An elbow pipe would be useful instead of having to use the cross piece to turn corners, and a couple of different bends, like 90 degree, 45 degree ect, so that you could correct a pipe system that isn't aligned properly.

Thanks for your time,

Perch:
I highly agree with the perch. Maybe make it so if you command your mount to land, and it's within 3 foundations of a "Perch" will seek out the closest one to rest on.

Collar:
Eh, wouldn't really see much of a point since that's kind of what a saddle is for. Can't recall seeing a collar on a horse. HOWEVER, if it was added a form of utility such as Increases Claim Duration then certainly. For exampke, if you were taking a business trip out of the country and can't be back on for like 2 weeks on a server, this would prevent people from stealing g all your pets. But then you'd have to give said collar a duration. Maybe note that over time the pet gets frustrated and chews it off? Lolz.
