Server accessability

Post by excaliber420 » Sun Dec 20, 2015 12:31 pm

I want to be able to log into the same server every time without having to wait all day. To fix this issue I recommend limiting the number of servers that a user can have an active character on to a reasonable number. I also recommend registering individual users to individual servers instead of letting just anyone log in to fill the server. I believe that this will help greatly with those that do not want to have to start new every time because the server that their character is on is constantly congested. Examples of this technique can be seen in the way that users log in to WOW, SWTOR, and many other leading MMOs that have survived the test of time.

A better solution to this would be to add a Que funtion to the server browser. Limiting the amount of people prevents new players from joining (Friends of current pkayers or so forth) but a que system would allow players to join their primary server without mashing the refresh button for thirty minutes

Players that use the server often enough should at least get priority in the Que.

Nah I'm with ya on limiting the servers per person, some people have lvl 60+ survivors on multiple servers and griefers tend to spread out on all of them. Limit the servers to like 3 per account
