Hello from Pixel Bandits

Hey hey,
My name is Jon and I am the leader of the Pixel Bandits clan (PBSF) who are currently spreading throughout a few games though we really started with Elite Dangerous (where we currently have a nice easy to manage (!) community of around 150 members.
We are playing on Xbox mostly and the PBSF - Pathfinders arm of the clan (for RPG / MMO / Crafting / Exploration) are all looking forward to the Game Preview release of ARK so I wanted to get in here and see the lay of the land and look at the best direction to take the clan in as we set off in game.
What would you guys say was your favourite part of ARK? I know in games like this things can get a little stale because there's no "main goal" etc. so how do you like to mix it up to keep your game fresh?
Looking forward to joining in with this community more in the near future and having some input of our own. You guys seem a cool bunch
