Hello everyone! I've been browsing various forums and sub-reddits for Ark, and I've found many great RP Communities. Unfortunately, most are exclusively on the PC. That said, I will be working on my own version of a "Faction RP" (Similar to ARK: Factions for PC or the Mount and Blade mod, Persistent World MMORPG, for those of you who are familiar) for the Xbox community. It will involve multiple players starting large "nations" that build cities, create laws and distinct cultures, and engage in formal wars. In essence, those participating will join a world rich in player-crafted lore, experience interesting scenarios beyond those encountered in a normal Ark session, and take part in an in-depth RP designed to capture the magnitude of nation-building and experience life in distinct player-made civilizations that will rise and fall with the passage of time. This game is not so much about maxing a character or crafting the best gear or creating an army of dinosaurs for raiding, but more-so about roleplaying as a part of the Ark world, whether you are a king, a soldier, an outlaw, or a simple citizen.
In a few days, I will post an announcement thread for what I call "The Nations of Ark RP," including the rules, faction registration, player registration, and other information, but before I do, I would like to gauge this community's opinion...
• Would anyone be interested in participating? No need to commit, but I'd like to know if a large enough number of players would be willing to join, and to know if this a worthwhile endeavor.
• I am unable to create a server for myself, so would a low-population server, official or player dedicated, be adequate for those interested?
• Should the game be played on a Hardcore, Primitive, or Standard server?
All in all, I'm looking to organize a serious RP community, but most of all, a community that is looking for something different and new in Ark. If you are interested, know someone who is interested, or have questions or suggestions, then please reply. Thank you for reading, and thank you for your input!
Would anyone be interested in a large scale, server-wide RP? [XBOX ONE]

Re: Would anyone be interested in a large scale, server-wide RP? [XBOX ONE]
I've been working on the rules and a few of the systems for the past few days, and I expect to post an official recruitment/announcement/update thread at some point next week. I'm trying to figure out the most efficient system possible to log players as a part of the RP along with their factions, so I apologize if I seem hesitant or unresponsive. As it stands now, I don't have a set server lined up for our game, so we may have to use a low-population official server for the time being. Would a standard PVP server be best or a PVE/Hardcore/etc. be preferred?
In the meantime, try to gather your friends into a custom faction with a purpose and a background.
And most of all, thank you for replying, this is the first time I've ever attempted to host an RP, especially one of this scale, and its good to know that there are people who would want to participate!
