Torpor turrets/rounds

Howdy,
Maybe I am the only one but I have had a lot of trouble with my takes in the snow biome. It always seems that whatever I tame, the turrets and plant species x will passively kill, or if I knock it out and have to reactivate my turrets to ward off wolf pack or random rex, the turrets then will also target and kill the unconscious dino leaving me yet again afoot. Too many times have I lost high tamed to this. My wish is a subspecies of plant x (maybe call it plant T)that will do torpor. This will aid in the capture of some tames, also be a great pvp item for defense, and still provide some safety when you have to turn off the other turrets. My request is that it does less damage than tranq darts but fires rapid torpor.

I agree that some form if torpor inducing turret would be a great asset to add. The biggest problem I can foresee with them would be targeting ai. The turret should knock a target unconscious, then retarget. It also should not be able to retarget an already unconscious lifeform until that target recovers plus 30 seconds to give them a chance to flee. I think that it may be possible if you don't mind a 30 second initial lag before the turret reacts. Also, if its a variant of plant x, it should require narcotic stocked in the planter box to be used as ammo.
