Now recently while playing ARK i have found out that dinos lay eggs. So my first thought was can we hatch this? But unfortunately i found out u cant
. so obviously i was a little bit disappointed but then i thought how about i do a post about this and this idea could possibly develop into an in game thing.So here is the idea-Eggs must be hatched in a incubator which is unlocked at about level 40 (cuz thats modern tech area for engrams)
-Different types of eggs take a longer time for example a dilo could take about 15 minutes while a T-Rex will take about 1 day.
-Incubator must be constantly monitored for example if its overheats put water into it from a water source example waterskin
-Egg colour determines Dino colour.
-Baby Dino inherits looks and possibly level from parent.
-Baby dino must have a high pitched voice for example if a baby t-rex roared it will be so cute
-Dino must have different sizes according to its age for example if its a teen must be about 1/3 size of fully grown
-Incubator must be powered by a source of energy
-A incubator has about 2 slots for 2 eggs
-Dino eggs can be found in the wild in a dino Nest (Which would be really cool
)-Dino eggs can also be laid by a mated pair of dinosaurs (already in game)but a dino couple should only have about one egg every in game week( so its not overdone)
-Once eggs are hatched you have to create something to feed it (Like a miniature milk bottle , and also its prime source of food depending if its a carnivore of herbivore)
-At least one of the parent dinos must protect the nest for it to be a challenge to get the egg.
-And must take a long time for dinosaur to grow up
I do hope some of these ideas get released into the game and i defiantly know a lot of players would like this in game. Now of course i dont mind if you want to add these but change a few of these ideas a bit because i know creating this can be hard but i would really like for the basic idea of this to be in the game which include incubators and nests.
