Anyone having problems with the caves on Xbox?

So I went in the caves to get a relic and some crystals and I even tamed a scorpion while being down there but when I went to go back up I wasn't able to go past 3 point or my game would crash (note: those 3 points are the only way for me to exit) anyone know how to fix this so I don't have to start over?

As far as I know it is not fixable. I have encountered this same bug several times and couldnt fix it. I just had to completely reset my level 75 character because of it. The only thing i can suggest is to stay away from the caves.

There is a possible way to fix it.

1. Drop all items (nothing in the hot bar or armor slots)

2. Walk outside the cave

3. Wait ~3 seconds

4. Walk back in and grab all your stuff

You should be able to leave

How would this work if your deep into the cave and the exit is blocked by the bug trip that sends me to home screen?

I was in the Swamp Cave (On Xbox One, mind you) on my solo server trying to tame an Onyc. I realized I had set Food Drain to 6 so I left and came back with it at 2 and my game continuously crashed if I sprinted. So I walked out of the cave, exited and came back to try and tame the Onyc, however it said it's food meter was max, yet it was taking starvation damage. I also cannot go back into the Swamp Cave or else my game crashes... :/

I don't know if they can fix this, but they need to since caves are a very important part of the game (can't summon broodmother without them).

Will go to a different cave and see if it crashes if I go inside. I'll report back ASAP.

Every time myself or my husband attempt to enter the cave at the southeast corner of the map the game crashes. We have been inside once, but since then we haven't been able to go inside. Does anyone know when the update will be released that will fix this? Hopefully soon. Has anyone been able to fix this on their own?
