Can't pull up Xbox one keyboard when trying to type in fields.
I can't name my pet's, items or even search for a server as my xbox one keyboard doesn't pop up when I select a field to type in. Any ideas?

I'm struggling with this also... It would be great if someone knew a way around this or to fix it.. But it looks like its not really that common

Since the update, nothing has changed. Still unable to rename or name anything, when you highlight the text window bar nothing comes up. How can we fix it?

Re: Can't pull up Xbox one keyboard when trying to type in fields.
I'm not 100% sure what the exact cause behind it is, but what resolved my issue is removing any and all USB devices attached to the XBOX. I believe what is happening is the game is improperly trying to identify external keyboards. I'm not sure if it's a way that XBOX handles input devices or Wild Card just needs to change their detection code.
The logic behind this, you ask, is because if you have an external keyboard, you don't need the on screen one and will get to keep all of that very valuable screen real estate. I think its a great idea but should have been tested a bit more prior to releasing the feature. My exact issue was remedied by unplugging my 2nd controller from my play and charge kit. While I have my keyboard back now, I have to constantly unplug my other controller any time I want to play ARK now.
