Base is not owned by us anymore!!!

Ok, so me and my tribe has made a lot of progress with our base and mounts. But suddenly everything is now owned by another tribe that might not even exist, the admins and tribe owner don't have any clue either as to how or why this happened. Please any one know a way to fix this?

I know if no one in the tribe logs in for a certain amount of time anything you own including dinos can become claimed by other players and tribes. I want to say its 2 days but I don't know if its adjustable. I believe they put this in so that when griefers drop campfires and such to stop expanansion you can get rid of them after so many hours with out the player around. I don't know if this was the case for your tribe but it is a possibility.
