ARK: Survival Evolved Forum

Currently i am renting a server from a company.
it is supposed to be a 100 slot server but when using
Enable cheats and setcheatplayer i can see that the server fps is 10> when there is only 8 players on the server.
is this a number i dont understand or is this the tickrate of the server?

I have payed 80 Euros for a month of this server and i a REALLY disapointed because of people complaining about bad lag when more the 15 people join the server.

Is there anything what so ever i can do because i feel like i just lost 80 euro on nothing

I run a server on a dedicated server box at home running server 08 r2 and from time to time i get lag. Keep in mind this game is early access and still being worked on. From what i have experienced on my server is that people will lag at different random times. Never really have I seen 2 players lag at the same time. This tells me its a client side issue. More than likely a gpu issue and just trying to keep up. They have a lot more performance work to do on this game. They are talking about the next release v181 to have "Client GPU optimization Round 2". Hopefully that helps.
