Hi guys.
I recently moved back to Linux Mint KDE x64 from Windows 8.1 x64, and I'm trying to get my server to work on Linux too (I kept my Windows installed for now, as I need to be able to launch it for my friends still). The game now works fine, after some tweaking I finally got it to launch and run with no glitches. But that's for the Linux client side...
As I already had a server running on Windows 8.1, I copied the Game.ini and GameUserSettings.ini, and transferred the content of ShooterGame/Saved/SavedArks/ over.
I get to see and connect to my server, the settings are ok, and my survivor is the right one (name, level, tribe).
Only problem is that when I connect, it asks me to respawn, thus loosing my inventory. When I go to the place where I was when I last disconnected (stopped the server right after) on Windows, there is no bags, no cadaver, nothing. I lost my whole inventory, and as I could cheat it back for me, it's gonna be a pain for all the players on my server...
I tried relaunching it from Linux still (with fresh map and playerprofile backups from the Windows install), and a friend of mine which is on Windows connected, but had the same Respawn problem. Lost his stuff too.
Any idea on how to fix this so that when players connect, they are not despawned and have their inventory ?

Re: Migrating server on Linux from Windows
Found the solution :
As I said, the server wasn't installed in the same folder as the client (which was the case on my Windows install), so the mod would not update when I launch steam, nor even autodownload.
The copy of the mod to the server folder (ShooterGame/Content/Mods/) resolved the bug.
