Hi,

So recently I bought Ark and started playing a bit, I played local (singleplayer) most of the time, now I wanted to host my own server to play with friends.
The thing is, I know how to do this and I know how to port forward, in the past I used to host Garrysmod or killing floor servers, etc.

WHATS THE PROBLEM?

Well, I used this guide / tool (Ark server manager): http://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/di ... 678228443/

I started to use this instead of manually doing all the work. Yes, I tried that before using this tool.

Problem
after setting everything up the server starts and everything but still after waiting for like 30 minutes my server still says:Steam unavailble.

More information says it's unavailble....

But it says that the server is running!

Ports (yes the ports are forwarded to 192.168.2.12)

So, after waiting for like 30 minutes or so it still didnt change or show up in Ark / steam / arkservers.net

Does somebody know the solution for this?
I'm using Symantec Antivirus, maybe thats blocking my firewall? I did allow the server in the firewall settings tho...

Ask for help on the server manager page if you haven't done so yet. The guys who are developing the tool are quite active there and try to offer support as much as possible.

The only thing I can suggest based on this info is to leave the MultihomeIP blank, I don't use that either.
Obviously you need to fill in the Public IP bit, but I'll asume that will be correct.
