Server crashes instantly. MSVCR120.dll. ShooterGame has stopped Working

I've just downloaded the files using steamcmd and I'm trying to launch the server, however I get "ShooterGame has stopped working"
Fault Module Name: MSVCR120.dll

I've tried installing the redistributables required but no such luck.

Any suggestions please?

Try downloading and installing the Visual C packages directly from Microsoft:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2977003
(only the 2013 version)

I'd uninstall the current version first, it's most likely a corrupt file.

I've just installed Windows 7 fresh, installed steamcmd and then downloaded ark server.
I've then installed the 2013 packages from the link and still getting the same error.

I've tried this on 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 too.

Still haven't got this working.

I've tried installing all the redists from the "_CommonRedist" folder from the Ark client install but still getting the MSVCR120.dll "ShooterGame has stopped working" error.

What I've done today
- Installed Windows 7, run all Windows Updates.
- Installed Ark Server Manager and downloaded the server.
- Clicked Start
"ShooterGame.exe has stopped working".
- I then tried to install the DirectX and vcredists included in the Ark client installation folders, but this has not helped.

I can't be the only person with this issue..

Same problem..... I bought the game yesterday and I tried to solve the problem for more than four hours without success. It's a bit disappointing to buy a game that does not work. Especially that this bug was present since the release of the game and there is still no solution... Please help! :'(

I got the same issue....
7 days to die used to have the same issue so i saved the replacement files from that and tried with this but still won't work. I feel being ripped off...

Try to copy this file (MSVCR120.dll) from your system folder to your root game folder. It could help you. If you cant find it on your PC, download it from the http://fix4dll.com/msvcr120_dll or similar site. But don't forget to check it with anti-virus.
