How to play single player

I don't use steam to play this game. I launched the game, click in Host/Local Play and when I click to Play Local, a infinity loading screen appear so I cannot play the game. If I clicked Host, is crashed and nothing happen. Someone please help!

it takes a while i kept stopping mine thinking it had crashed,i then started it then i left the room came back about 5 mins to 10 min later it had started but it looked like it had stopped loading when i walked away

So after that, can you play single player? I waited for 5 minutes then it's still loading. I didn't download my game from steam, this can be a problem

I would suggest downloading it thru steam as that's how I did it and everything is working fine and also after the latest updates it's taking me about 10-15 mins to load both server up and about same for game to play it
