I'm waiting for an update on this matter myself. I'm pretty sure if they see a high demand for it they will do it, I don't see any cons just the pros.

+1 Definitely I don't see a single reason why devs shouldn't do it. My reasoning behind this is quite simple. I own a couple of nice PC's and one xbox one. I also own two copies of the game but now it seems that I would have to spent another 200+ £ to buy another xbox one, which I do not need at all...
